That is one of our most prized two-and-a-half by three-and-a-half inches of original art.  None other than Monica Rambeau by Joe Rubinstein from the Complete Avengers set.  She is absolutely gorgeous, and she was once known as Captain Marvel.

It was the best of times.  Lucious beauty combined with all the powers of pure light.  Add the visual bliss of this full-sized sketch by Craig Yeung, and I am in love.

Of course modern times have seen Monica lose the Afro and change her name to Photon.  That did not, however, stop her from being included in the hottest line-up in comic book history.  Get a load of the Marvel Divas.

Monica was also chosen as the leader of Nextwave, Marvel’s most bizarre group of crazy freaks, but that is something completely different.

And so, with a heart full of swollen desire for the magnificent myth of Monica Rambeau, we sign off today with one of the most spectacular sketch cards ever created.  This is by Ray Anthony Height from the Iron Man 2 set. It truly blows our little minds.
